What we decided on PESQA

From first version to launch, 10 weeks: June 12, 2026 to August 17, 2026. The PESQA case study

The deposit goes straight to the business.

Guides and lodges handle everything over WhatsApp, and collecting payment up front is hard for them. We built split payments. When an angler pays the deposit, Mercado Pago splits it on the spot: the business receives it directly in its account. PESQA keeps only its commission.

Every payment is checked on the server before it’s recorded. The notice must come from Mercado Pago, and the charge must be in pesos and for the exact amount. No payment is recorded twice.

Live on pesqa.ar; each business turns it on by connecting its Mercado Pago account.

For your projectIf your platform has to split payments between several businesses, this is the hard part. We’ve already solved it for PESQA.

Sign-up comes last.

To join, a business chooses its trade, then adds its details, the species it targets and its trips: 4 steps on a phone. It creates the account only at the listing preview, so it can add everything in one go without stalling at a sign-up form.

For your projectIn a sign-up flow, every extra screen is a reason to leave.

Questions about your app or platform

How much does an app or platform cost?

The first version of an app or platform starts at US$12,000. It goes live in 6 to 9 weeks, with a demo every week. Reference price as of October 2026; the final price goes in your proposal.

What is the first version (MVP)?

It’s the smallest version of your product that real customers can already use: for example, a marketplace, a booking system or a management dashboard, with user accounts, online payments and an admin panel.

Do I own the code?

Yes. The code and designs become yours once the project is finished and paid. If you decide to stop before then, you keep the code you paid for. Your domain and payment accounts are in your name from day one.

What is left out of the first version?

Anything you don’t need to launch. Before we start, we define what goes into this version and what comes later.

How do I pay for an app or platform?

50% deposit to start and 50% on delivery.
