Trastienda, a boutique studio for Tiendanube apps.

Many stores still convert their dollar prices to pesos by hand. Pizarra, the studio’s first app, does it every day, at the exchange rate you choose. Brand, website, product and engineering, all done in-house.

Pizarra, por trastienda

Pizarra: your dollar prices, kept current in pesos.

You mark which products are priced in dollars, and Pizarra converts those prices into pesos every day, with the exchange rate, margin and rounding you choose. If the exchange rate spikes, Pizarra pauses and asks you to confirm.

Five exchange rates to choose from

  • Official
  • MEP
  • Blue (informal)
  • Wholesale
  • Card rate

How Pizarra does the math

Example
Margin in the sample calculation
Price in dollars
US$899
Margin, added to the dollar price
+ 10% = US$988.90
MEP dollar rate
× AR$1,536.50
Exact result
AR$1,381,313.50AR$1,519,444.85
Rounded up to the nearest AR$100
AR$1,381,400AR$1,519,500

What we did

We built it with the same rules we apply to every project: phone first and clear in five seconds. The numbers you see are examples and are labeled as such.
